May it be love or friend
I will protect and defend
Love me for a reason
Not to complete a mission
Don't let love turn into hatred
Because of words that are not heeded
You promised to call
But you forgot
Not until I call you
I had to remind you
That promises are not supposed to be broken
Not even close to be forgotten
Cause what lies ahead
From this very date
Is the future of out relationship
And being the captains of our ship
We are to spend it wisely
Not treating it foolishly
It should not be at any cost
